I have been a member at The Hampton for almost a year now and joining has had a very positive impact. When I signed up I was between 15 ½ and 16 stone and as I write this I'm now between 13 and 13 ½ stone. .. |
TV fitness guru Mr Motivator will join a group of cyclists aiming to raise £30,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care which provides nursing care, free of charge, to terminally ill people, giving them the chance to choose to be cared for – and die – at home. Invest in you this summer and feel the difference. De-stress, relax and feel re-juvenated by massage.
Choose from the following or call for more information before deciding.
*Bodywork/Deep Tissue*- a great session for working out those 'knots', easing and freeing tight muscles and yet leaving you feeling wonderfully relaxed. Slow, deep strokes mean deeper muscles can be targeted. *Swedish*- light, soothing and uplifting. Muscles relax, circulation is improved & toxins flushed. The oil or cream used enhances the flow
of the long, stroking movements associated with this style.
*Remedial / Sports Injury*- targets more specific problem areas including old & recent injuries, strains, tight leg muscles, frozen shoulder, neck and back discomfort.
Deep tissue massage is combined with stretches & muscle tension release techniques to help relieve discomfort & improve joint mobility. *Thai* - Northern Thai style performed over loose clothing and based on balancing the 'Sensib' (Thai for the ten main pairs of energy lines believed to run throughout the body). Using thumbs and hands, rhythmic acupressure is applied along the lines clearing possible energy blocks and harmonising mind, body and spirit. Seated neck and shoulder treatments are very good for relieving tension headaches. Clients often say they can feel the tension melting away. In addition to the well-known back and foot massage, Thai Facial massage is also now proving extremely
popular. During the facial massage strokes glide up the back of the neck and into the hair. Client feedback is that this is a soothing, de-stressing and extremely relaxing session.
*Company On-site*
- On-Site came to England in the late 80's after much success in Silicon Valley. Received in the workplace in a specially designed chair provided
by the therapist, this acupressure session is given over clothing so no oils are used. It promotes a sense of well being and centering and has been described as an instant stress buster. A real tonifier and treat for neck, shoulders, arms and back this is ideal for bi-monthly / monthly sessions in Companies, Well-Being Days, Conferences,Teachers and Hospital Staff. Feedback comments have been "What did you do to do him?
He was so stressed before and came back like a different person." "This chair is so comfortable, it's relaxing in itself." "I never would have realised that there was so much tension in my arms" and
"Every day should include this."
Treatments usually take place at one of the therapy rooms in
SOLIHULL, KINGS NORTON, MOSELEY, QEH Morris Centre gym, STRATFORD,
HAMPTON IN ARDEN, or KING'S HEATH, and may also take place at your home by arrangement.
All that is required is space for the massage table or massage mat. (Travel expenses additional for mobile.)
*For Reflexology or Massage Courses* see Serenity Works' sister company
A Holistic session focuses on all levels of a person to help relieve tense, aching muscles and improve joint mobility. It can reduce stress and encourage a sense of wholeness and well being. Sessions are tailor made to meet your needs and can be mixed with myofascial release techniques. Sessions can be calming and deeply relaxing or stimulating and energising. Reflexology is based on the principle that every part of the body is reflected in areas of the feet, hands and head. When these areas are stimulated through direct pressure or massage, the corresponding area of a person's body is affected,a 'reflex' response. Can I book today? As much notice as possible means there's more chance of getting the time you'd like, but if you'd like an appointment today it's always worth calling to check if there's a free space. What should I wear?Best to wear loose style comfortable clothing. Consideration for modesty and comfort mean that when oils are used only the areas being worked on are left undraped. How do I know which session to choose? There's a brief description of the different massage styles above and when you call to book there's another opportunity to see what might suit you best. What if I can't make the session I've booked? Please call (with ideally 48 hours notice) to let me know if you are unable to make your appointment. It may be possible to re-schedule your session, or allocate it to someone else who had wanted an appointment. Two consecutive missed appointments, without prior notification, will incur a missed session charge. " Elaine is a very professional and dedicated masseuse. She has excellent anatomy knowledge and has helped me tremendously as I suffer with ME. I would recommend her highly to anyone with a chronic problem or just for a relaxing massage. She is a fantastic friendly lady." Peter - Birmingham "Elaine is a brilliant masseuse and very professional. I have visited her several times now. I have had a few different treatments which mainly include Thai head massage and neck and shoulder massage. I find the treatments and location very relaxing and highly recommend her to anyone. Fantastic!" - Stella - Coventry
"Elaine is a fantastic masseuse. I have been to a good few different masseuses and Elaine is among the best, really working the massage deep which I like. She also pays much attention to detail all around ie. body position, room temperature etc and apart from a grade A professional Elaine is a lovely lady too. recommended :)" Lee - Shirley, West Mids
I have had other massages but especially liked that Elaine took the time and trouble to concentrate on where the pain was and to use different techniques and body positions to those I've experienced before. I would certainly recommend others to go. Dee - Oldbury
"So lovely to be treated with so much respect that one leaves feeling that one has been
perceived as not merely a selection of muscles to be worked on but as a whole person" Jenny - Solihull, West Mids
"Heaven" Michael - Shirley, West Mids
"Best massage I've ever had. The pressure was just right and I felt like I'd woken up from a really good night's sleep" Katherine - Halesowen
"Been suffering for almost seven years with neck and shoulder pain. physio, acupuncture, chiropractor treatments had not helped. Chronic pain/stiffness has been eased considerably with deep tissue massage with Elaine with much improvement in quality of well-being. Treatment ongoing as benefit has been enhanced. Highly recommend." Vipul - Birmingham
"Enjoyed the massage; first time other than on holiday. Deep Tissue. Very professional consultation - thorough and comprehensive. Made me feel relaxed throughout. Would use again even though I live twenty miles away. Would recommend to friends and family" Peter - Burntwood
Came with a back problem, left with a huge smile
Jonathon - Birmingham "The Full Body Deep Tissue massage was fantastic, completely lovely. It feels like everything has loosened up and the week's tension has gone" Esther - King's Norton "I had tightness across my shoulders and back possibly from driving and sport. The first Deep Tissue Back Massage session helped, but three or four made a huge difference; racquet swing felt a lot lighter, much more comfortable across the shoulders and with a bit more rhythm. Monthly sessions have definitely helped" Steve - Knowle
"Wonderful relaxing experience. Lovely atmosphere and great conversation. Professional service. Will come again and recommend" Ryan - Birmingham
"My third time now and I had a full body massage. Elaine is and always will be one of the best. I had a lovely relaxing two hours and feel very relaxed. I will always come back to Elaine. She is fantastic and a very lovely lady. Thank you so much." Jan - Castle Bromwich "It was worth coming to the Pamper evening just for the foot massage. Lovely" Margery - Coventry
"I have been coming for some time now. I can always rely on Elaine to provide a very professional service, tailored specifically to my needs. Extremely relaxing massage, fantastic relief for all the aches and pains and tension which builds up from daily stress. Thank you Elaine" Sara - Moseley
